3) Katy Winter Program (High School / Junior High):
Infield work will consist of IQ style work. Infielders will work on situational defense, various footwork drills. Above all else, the boys will get a ton of reps in the 90 min defensive skill work segment.
Outfield work will consist of a series of progessions through ball drills that focus on footwork, initial reads, adjusted reads, and angles. Outfielder's will also take reps working on throwing to specific bases during certain situations.
Hitting will consist of a 3-station rotation. Station 1 will utilize video and a clasroom setting to educate the mental side as well as visual mechanics to help create aweness. Station 2 will take place in the cages to begin working on what was reviewed during video session. Station 3 will be on field hitting. It is important for hitters to see the flight of the ball and feel the reaction on contact in a on field settting.High School Winter Program

Futures Winter Mini-Camps: Led by South Texas Twelve Baseball staff, campers will receive top-tier instruction in hitting, fielding, throwing, and baserunning, plus competitive, targeted drills designed to reinforce each skill. The mini-camp format will be a fast-paced continuation from the summer futures clinic -- which will still aim to build a complete, age-appropriate player development plan created to engrain quality fundamentals within your athlete's skill set.
