MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

The Sammy Blair Scholarship honors the legacy of former Twelve player Sammy Blair. Sammy was a dynamic athlete from Navasota who passed suddenly on December 14, 2018. Those who knew Sammy, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives. His Catholic faith was at the center of his life and shown through in everything he did and said, even when — perhaps especially when — he was just goofing around with his family and friends.
AUSTIN HODGE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
OPEN TO all BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL PLAYERS
The Austin Hodge Memorial Scholarship honors the memory of Austin Hodge, who passed away after a courageous battle with Cystic Fibrosis on March 3, 2023. Austin did not “lose” this battle. He finished the race set before him, and he was welcomed home to the words of Jesus, “well done good and faithful servant.” Victory.
With his unwavering positivity, grit, and integrity, Austin was an inspiration to those who knew him by remaining steadfast even in the midst of the most challenging of circumstances.
"Austin fought the good fight, he has finished the race, he kept the faith. Henceforth, there is laid up for Austin the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, awarded to Austin on that day, and not only to Austin but also to all who have loved his appearing." 2 Timothy 4:7-8
This scholarship celebrates his legacy by recognizing a Texas Twelve athlete who reflects Austin’s character, which includes infectious positivity, grit, and integrity. Additionally, the scholarship is meant to honor Austin’s steadfast faith and trust in Jesus, come what may. Applicants will need to exhibit the same character and commitment to live for the Lord.

The High School Baseball Scholarship is open exclusively to current high school baseball players within our organization. This scholarship recognizes young men who not only compete at a high level, but who also represent our pillars with integrity and conviction. We are looking to honor athletes who are fearlessly different, focused on what truly matters, committed to excellence in every detail, and consistent in both character and effort. This award celebrates those preparing for success beyond the field, as leaders, teammates, and men of impact.

We seek to recognize athletes who are fearlessly different, focused on what’s important, committed to excellence, and consistent in their character and work ethic. This award celebrates those who strive to lead boldly, serve faithfully, and represent our pillars both on and off the field.
