Congratulations to Katy Seven Lakes 2016 grad Andrew Knutson on your commitment to Weatherford College!

Andrew is a 6'2" right handed pitcher who throws hard with heavy sink! The summer after his sophomore year of high school Andrew was routinely throwing 87-88 mph. Heading into the the summer after his junior year, after a very successful spring high school season where he was up to 91 on the gun, Andrew was primed for a big summer. He was a major prospect for major college programs.

Unfortunately for Andrew, during his first summer outing he suffered an injury to his throwing arm triceps. He battled through rehab work all summer but couldn't quite get healthy enough to show his talents to the scouting community. To Andrew's credit, he showed a great deal of mental toughness as he persevered and went to work getting healthy for the fall.

This fall Andrew has shown himself to be healthy and he has landed a deal at one of the top junior college programs in the country.

Andrew is a hard worker. He's been known to knock out a band routine in the hotel room on a road trip if needed... Talent plus work ethic is a good combination. Andrew has both. We fully expect him to continue to represent the Twelve program well at the next level.

Congratulations to the Knutson family!
