With a crowd of more than 250 on hand for free hot dogs and a chance to see if the "has beens" could still do it and handle the "up and comers," the first annual Coaches vs. Players game was a tremendous hit.

The Twelve 16u Fall World Series champion Zambonis squad showed up ready to play.  17u players Zach Smith and Stuart Hennigar coached the Zambonis who also picked up some extra help in the form of Jamie Dominguez and MacGregor Hines.  Unfortunately for the Zambonis, the Twelve Staff showed up and performed as if they hadn't missed a beat.

At the end of the night, the Twelve Staff had thrown a complete game no-hitter and pounded out an impressive 9 runs of offense.   Twelve Director of Operations Kevin Hodge led the offensive onslaught with two homeruns, a double, and six RBI's!

Special thanks to Michelle Yeatts, Joey Medlin, Scott Hennigar, Chris and Lindy Beasley for coordinating the event and grilling the food.  Special thanks to Brandon Brown for his work as the P.A. announcer.
