KEVIN HODGE

A graduate of Bryan High School, Kevin played college baseball at Rice University where Baseball America magazine listed him as a Top 100 College Prospect in 1998. A drafted and developed shortstop who played with the Twins, Astros, Phillies, and TIgers, he spent half of his professional career as an infielder/utility-man before converting to the mound. He earned both his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Sport Management from Texas A&M. Kevin is the Director of Operations for Twelve Baseball.

MATT FONTENOT

A native of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Matt played college baseball at McNeese State University from 2007-2010, after playing 2 seasons at Bossier Parish Community College. As a middle infielder, he helped McNeese set the school record for team batting average for a season. Following his playing career, he spent time coaching high school baseball as well as club baseball, including a stint with the Twelve. He then went on to serve as the Director of Football Operations for Texas A&M Football under Kevin Sumlin. He received his Masters in Sports Management from Texas A&M in 2013. He is Director of Operations for Twelve in College Station.

ZACH DILLON

Zach played college baseball at Baylor University where he was the 2006 Big XII Player of the Year. After a stellar college career, he was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles. Following his professional playing career, Zach spent time as a college coach at Baylor, Mississippi State, Iowa, and McClennan Community College. He graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors from Baylor with a degree in Education.  He was the 2007 recipient of the Big 12 Post Graduate Scholarship.  He received his Masters from Baylor University in Sport Management. He is Director of Operations for Twelve in Katy, Texas.

TREVOR MOTE

Trevor was drafted as an infielder by the  Houston Astros in the 15th round out of Baylor University in 2001.  He played 2001-2005 in their organization and was named an Midwest League All star in 2002.  Trevor Graduated from Baylor in 2005 with a Bachelors of Science.  Trevor played 2 years at Yavapai College (Prescott, Arizona) where he was the player of the year and 1st Team All-American in 1999.  Trevor has 10 years of College Coaching Experience and 8 years as an Assistant at Baylor University.  Trevor is the Director of Operations for Twelve in The Woodlands, Texas.

MARK MANGUM

Mark is a graduate of Kingwood High School, located in Northeast Houston. Mark signed a letter of intent to play baseball in college at Georgia Tech before being drafted in the first round of the 1997 MLB draft as the 18th pick selected by the Colorado Rockies. In 1998, Mark was traded to the Montreal Expos where he went on to win Pitcher of the Year for the Expos’ minor league Single A affiliate. Mark is a 2007 graduate from Texas A&M and is the Director of Youth Development.

GREGG BENNETT

Gregg is the founder of Twelve Baseball and has been an integral part of development and administrative strategy concerning the program's brand for nearly a decade. He is also a board member for the program in Katy, TX. His playing and coaching experience is extensive, having been a major part of high caliber high school and collegiate programs including Tennessee Tech University and Auburn University. Gregg is a tenured full professor of Sport Management and is the Director of the Center for Sport Management and Research at Texas A&M University.

RYAN BRAUNINGER

Originally from Nederland, TX, Ryan played a year of JuCo ball at Hill College before receiving a scholarship to play at McNeese State from 2006-2009. He earned All Southland Conference selections 3 times. Ryan is one of only two players in school history selected as an ESPN The Magazine Academic All American. After his playing career ended, he moved to College Station and attained a Master's degree in Sports Management from Texas A&M University. Ryan is in his 6th year with the Twelve and coached numerous Twelve alumni at various levels.

PHIL CAREY

Phil played his college baseball at Texas A&M University, where he was primarily a third baseman and middle infielder. Before coming to play at Texas A&M, Phil was selected to play on the Canadian Junior Olympic Baseball Team. He graduated from Texas A&M with a degree Business Administration. In addition to his coaching and roving duties with the Twelve, Phil is a managing partner for PAD Homes Realty.

CHRIS BALLOU

 Chris graduated in 2008 from Houston Christian, where he was an All-State performer for the 2008 TAPPS 5A State Championship team.  He played a year at Navarro College before transferring to Texas A&M University Kingsville. At TAMU Kingsville, Chris was name a Daktronics All-American and a Capital One Academic All-American in 2013. Chris helped lead TAMU Kingsville to the NCAA Regionals in 2013, a year in which the team set the program record for wins. Chris graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor's of Business Administration in May 2013.

KIRKLAND RIVERS

Kirkland graduated from Henderson High School in 2004, after which he went on to play JuCo baseball at Texarkana. He later transferred to Texas A&M University where he pitched and played the outfield for the Aggies from 2006-2008. Kirkland was drafted in 2008 by the Houston Astros. He spent four years in the Astros organization before suffering a career ending shoulder injury. He was named the pitching coach at Texarkana in 2012, and later spent two years as a high school coach at Central Heights where he won two district championships. Kirkland is married to former Texas A&M University soccer player Amber Gnatzig.

JASON BULLARD

Jason played his college baseball at Texas A&M University, where he was a standout pitcher for the Aggies. He was drafted in the 11th round of the MLB draft by the Pittsburgh Pirates. He went on the pitch for the Rockies, Mets, Indians, Orioles, Braves, and Giants throughout a nearly decade-long professional baseball career. In addition to his coaching duties for the Twelve, Jason helps with youth development within the Bryan/College Station baseball community.

DAN DEYOUNG

Dan was born and raised in the State of Iowa. His senior year he led his high school baseball team to a state title and was named the state Player of the Year. His senior year, he was named one of the Top-5 athletes in the State of Iowa, after which he was drafted by the New York Yankees. He passed up professional baseball to enroll at Ole Miss where he was a three-year letterman for the Rebels. After his junior year at Ole Miss, he was selected in the 6th round of the MLB draft by the Texas Rangers. He also played for the Florida Marlins after being traded in his second pro year.

JOSH MARKLE

Josh graduated from Longmont High School in Longmont, CO, in 1999. He went to Treasure Valley Community College where he was a two-way player as a pitcher and first baseman for the Chukars. He later transferred to Southern Illinois University where he anchored a defense that led the nation in double plays in 2003. Josh graduate with his degree in Economics in 2004. After college, he was an assistant coach for Iowa Central CC where he helped the Tritons advance to a fourth place finish in the 2010 NJCAA Division II World Series.

SCOTT VEEDER

Scott has over 15 years of experience working with baseball players ages 9-18. He played college baseball at Cal State Dominguez Hills where he was a first team All CCAA and second team All West Region pitcher his junior year. After his collegiate career, Scott signed as a free agent to play independent league baseball with the Regina Cyclone of the Prairie League. He would later also play with the Clarksville Coyotes of the Big South League. He spent two years as a college pitching coach for Cal State Dominguez Hills after he retired from baseball in 1996.

MATT FRANCO

Matt is a 1989 graduate of Napa High School in Napa, CA. After attending Napa Valley College, Matt secured a spot on the baseball team at San Diego State University, where he played shortstop and second base for the Aztecs. He graduated from San Diego State University in 1994 with a bachelor's in Business Management. After graduation, Matt moved back to Northern California and in that time assisted at both of his hometown programs at Napa Valley College and at Napa High School. Matt moved to Katy, Texas, in 2004 with his wife Carolyn, to whom he's been married 13 years. TODD MOEHLIG

Todd grew up in the Central Texas area where he graduated from Clifton H.S. in 1985. While in high school, he was a four-year All-District as well as a All Cen-Tex honoree his senior year. He attended Sam Houston State University and was a member of the Sam Houston State football team. Todd received his degree in Kinesiology from Sam Houston in 1989, and accepted his first head coaching position at Austin High School in 1995. He helped guide his teams to the playoffs in 1998-2002, winning a district championship in 1998 and 2001. He was twice named district Coach of the Year by the Fort Bend Herald and Houston Chronicle in 1998 and 2001, respectively. Todd now serves as athletic coordinator for the Fort Bend ISD. Coach Moehlig is married to his wife, Michelle, and has two daughters, Kellie and Madison.

TYLER JONES

Tyler was a 3 time all district performer at Tomball High School in Tomball, Texas.  Tyler played collegiately under Mark Johnson and David Pierce at Sam Houston State University. SHANE NELSON

Shane was a two sport (baseball and football) all-state player at John Milledge Academy in Milledgeville, GA. He earned All-American honors at Young Harris JC where he was named team captain and led the Georgia JUCO Division in home runs and stolen bases. After two years at Young Harris, Shane moved on to play at the University of South Carolina.  As SC, Shane was again elected team captain and led the Gamecocks to a national #1 ranking. The Gamecocks broke 34 NCAA and SEC records with Shane as the captain.  Shane married high school sweetheart Kasey. The couple has two boys, Gunner and Parker.

DONNIE FOWLER

Donnie was a 7th round draft pick by the Montreal Expos out of Spring High School. He played his summer ball with the Kyle Chapman program under Mike Rutledge. Donnie passed on MLB and opted to attend Texas A&M University and play for Head Coach Mark Johnson from 1994 - 1997. He graduated from TAMU with a BA in psychology.  Donnie and his wife Nicole reside in College Station and are the proud parents of Callie, Braden, Grayson, and Alyssa.

RANDY BROWN

Randy played at San Jacinto Junior College where he was a two time All-Conference player, two time National Champion, and NJCAA World Series MVP. He committed to Florida State but opted instead to sign with the Boston Red Sox when drafted out of San Jac in 1990.  Traded to the New York Yankees in 1997 and then to the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1998, Randy played 10 years professionally.  Randy has coached in the Houston area for several years where he also has an extensive personal instruction resume.

BRODIE GREEN

Brodie graduated from Bullard High School in 2006, after which he went on to play  baseball at Texas A&M from 2007-2010. He played multiple positions, including all OF spots 3B, 2B and SS. DELWYN YOUNG

A California high school graduate, Delwyn has 15 years of baseball playing experience in the High School, Collegiate, Minor, Independent and Major League divisions. He was a utility player with many accolades including being a nine time all-star. Other recent accomplishments include: In 2015 he reached 1,500 career base hits, and broke the Sugarland Skeeters homerun record. He also holds the record for reaching base safely for 52 consecutive games; In 2014 he set the record for most homeruns in a season for the Sugarland Skeeters.

STEVYN RIVERA

Stevyn Rivera played college baseball as a catcher at Tyler Junior College. After injuring and surgery on his shoulder he moved to Huntsville. While Sam Houston State he began coaching youth baseball while he obtained his bachelors and Masters Degree in Sport and Human Performance.  He is also a trainer for campGladiator. DAKOTA DILL

Dakota was a 3 year Varsity letterman at Spring High School for coach Doug Rush. He spent 2 years at the University of Houston and 2 years at Sul Ross State University (Alpine, TX). He holds the record for the most strikeouts in a season at Sul Ross (as a pitcher). At Sul Ross, he was Newcomer of the year, American Southwest Conference Pitcher of the year, 1st team all conference as Pitcher and Designated Hitter (2 years in a row), Team MVP,  First Team All American as Pitcher. He was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in 2013 and retired in 2016 due to having his 2nd Tommy John surgery. Dakota has coached youth and high school age baseball since 2011.

PAUL HOLLAS

Paul played baseball at McCullough/The Woodlands High School where he was a four year varsity starter and two time All-State selection.  He originally signed a letter of intent to play college baseball at The University of Miami (FL) before deciding to stay closer to home and play at McLennan and San Jacinto Junior Colleges.  While at San Jac, he earned All-Conference honors and played in the NJCAA World Series where his team finished runner-up national champions.  He graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelors of Business Administration degree in finance and also earned a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Houston.  He has coached youth baseball in The Woodlands area for several years.

SHANE VEEDER

Shane graduated in 2014 from Cinco Ranch High School, where he was first team All-District and third team All-Greater Houston in the 2014 season. He then went to Texas A&M University- Kingsville where he played for three years. In the 2015 season he assisted the Javelinas in winning the Lone Star Conference championship. In 2016, he threw the T-2nd most innings pitched on the staff, helping lead the team to the regional tournament in Grand Junction, Colorado, where the Javelinas knocked off top seed and host Colorado Mesa University. Shane will graduate in May 2019 with a double major in Finance and Investment Banking.

DAYNE MITCHELL

Coach Dayne Mitchell enters his 15th year coaching baseball overall and 3rd in the high school ranks. He will serve as the JV Head Coach the Highlanders and assist Varsity throughout the year. He spent three years working with a Colorado Rockies Cross-checker and has learned from pitching guru’s Tom House and The Texas Baseball Ranch. He played Varsity Baseball and Basketball at Westwood HS in Austin where he graduated from in 2003. He hit leadoff for the Warriors while getting the Honorable Mention award his senior year. In basketball, he led Central Texas in free-throw shooting percentage at 88.7% and was named to the Second team. He is married to his wife of three years Kandace Mitchell who teaches 7th grade Science at Irons MS.

ZAC SLAYDON

A native of Bryan/College Station, Zac graduated from Bryan High School in 2013. While in high school, he was a 3 year All-District  in both baseball and football, and also set the school record for fielding percentage. JIM TUCKER

Jim Tucker played a year of college baseball at Houston Baptist University until an injury ended his career.  Coach Jim Tucker enters his 17th year coaching baseball overall and 15th at the high school level. He currently serves as the Varsity Assistant and Program pitching coach at Stephen F. Austin High School in Fort Bend ISD. Coach Tucker enters his second season as a high school program coach for the Twelve Organization.  He was a 2 year letterman at Taylor High School in Katy and was voted to all district teams each year as well as defensive player of the year.  Coach Tucker has one son, Peyton, who is a member of the Twelve Organization

COREY MOOREHOUSE

Corey is a native of Cypress, TX and graduated from Langham Creek High School. He played college baseball at Kansas State University and Angelo State University where he studied Business Management with a minor in Accounting. After moving back to Houston in 2012, he spent three years in Operations in the Oil & Gas industry and is now an Account Manager for Moore Supply Company. NINO LEYJA

Nino is a graduate from Houston Christian High School, class of 2008 where he won a State title along side colleague and current Twelve Coach Chris Ballou. Nino was drafted in 2008 by the Oakland Athletics where he spent 5 seasons in their Minor League system. He earned two All-Star honors as a MIF and was also named MVP of the Midwest league All-Star game. Michael Barash

Native of Boca Raton, Florida spent freshman in 2013 at LSU. After transferring to Palm Beach State College in his sophomore year, Barash spent two years playing at Texas A&M as the primary catcher for the first SEC tournament championship team in school history in 2016. Barash was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels in the 9th round of the 2016 MLB Draft and is currently playing in Double A for the Angels.
